Groves Marine was originally founded by Paul Groves, who decided to start a small island barging business that would be an enjoyable semi-retirement job.
Soon known as a business that was fair and willing to work with customers, and quickly growing through word of mouth, Groves Marine became gradually busier, with increasingly more equipment added to the fleet.
After more than 20 years, Paul retired for real, and his son, Craig, who has grown up in the business, has taken over as owner and operator of Groves Marine.
